Questions regarding hurricane relief efforts can be directed to

Evacuees seeking public assistance should call 874-2072

 

 

Sacramento County has established a centralized information source to field questions from the public regarding Hurricane Katrina relief efforts in the county: (916) 875-5656, option 2.   Customer service representatives are providing information regarding donations, locating missing relatives, and connecting with disaster assistance resources. Information is also available at www.saccounty.net.

 

In addition, Gulf Coast evacuees who are staying in Sacramento may contact the County of Sacramento Department of Human Assistance for information about federal, state, and local government programs such as cash assistance, food stamps, and health insurance for eligible low-income residents.   To apply or for more information, call (916) 874-2072 during regular business hours or visit www.saccounty.net/dha
